However, if you were leasing your home prior to and on 1/18/2019, you are allowed to continue leasing that particular unit until you sell it. Also, if you were living in your unit on 1/18/2019 and later want to lease it to a third party, you are NOT permitted to do so under the revised covenants.

Upon the sale or conveyance of any Unit, the Owner engaged must notify any potential buyer or person taking title that no Unit or lot subject to these Declarations may be leased at any given time. However, failure to notify potential buyer or subsequent titleholder will not waive, exempt, or otherwise give that new owner the right to not comply with the terms of this restriction. Further, Owner’s failure will not exempt new owner from responsibility for payment of any assessments or fines assessed under this restriction.
